How can one be turly happy?

Happiness comes from within. You have to make yourself happy. You have to let go of past histories with people who made your life a living hell. Get rid of the clutters in your heart. You have to get rid of that man, husband, woman, or wife who don't mean you any good. Forget his or her name and move on. Some say, I can't do without him or her, but I say forget him or her and go on with your life until better comes. You can do better by yourself. Some people say money will make them happy. Money is good, but it doesn't bring true happiness. Money is the root of all evil. I always say that money is good to have, but its not everything. True happiness comes when you truly love yourself and is willing to forgive that man,husband, woman, wife who hurt you. I say when a person hurt you, it hurts like hell. You must forgive that person and move on. Some men or women who are married, loves to have their cake and eat it also. You can't say, I love you baby, get married and act like you have to have your wife and a girlfriend. That wrong, you are playing a fool. Sometimes, that person say he or she is separated from their wife or husband and that is a lie. Please ask yourself , Are you able to go to that man or woman house? The answer is no, because he or she is still married. Stop being a fool in love and do what is best for you. First, you have to heal yourself and that take time. When you finish with one relationship, you don't rush into another. When one door closes, another one will open. So just wait. True happiness comes when you are in love with yourself and then you will be able to love others. Forgiveness is the key to love and happiness.

Don't allow anyone to steal your joy.

  Don't allow anyone to steal your joy. A lot of times you are just fill with the joy of the Lord and you are happy. You smile at your co-workers and say good morning and they will say good morning. At other times, some of your co-workers are bitter and look mean and unhappy. I just don't pay them any mind because they are not going to steal my joy. Sometimes, some of them are unhappy and miserable. I always say misery loves company. When you come to work, or business of employment, try and leave your problems at the door before you enter your work place. But some of them bring their problems on the job. I don't need to see your miserable face. Please try to separate your personal life from your job life. On your job you have to be professional at all times. You only have one life to live so what ever the problem is try to eliminate it from your life. You can be happy and live your life to the fullest only in the Lord.

After the rain

I love when it rains and I am home. I love to make a cup of tea and toast with butter. The rain is like tear drops pouring down from heaven. The rain makes everything grow. The flowers get a lot of rain water which helps the flowers to grow. The rain makes the hedges to grow. I love when it rains because you know you are home and you have food to eat. Yesterday, it rains all day long. I thought it would never end. I had to work, but I stay inside all day. At the end of the day it was still raining. I just went home and enjoy the rest of the evening. I cooked dinner and my children and I ate. The next day was work again. As I headed out for work, the weather was freezing and I was so cold. I always tell a few people that after the rain, it is usually very cold. So remember when it rains, the next day will be very cold so dress accordingly.

How must we grow in love?

"This is what the Lord asks of you; only this, to act justly, to love tenderly, and walk humbly with your God."  Micah 6 verse 8



I know it takes a lot to love each other in a world that is unfair, unjust, and cold at times. We have to learn to love each other, to care for each other and to show respect for each other. Love that is kind, love that is thoughtful, love that endure a life time can never be quenched. Love is a strong feeling that requires a lot of affection. Love for your children, friend, family and co-workers are all essential for a life time of happiness. I thought about giving more to others and lend a helping hand to those who are in need. Love can overcome many boundaries. How must we grow in love? Each and every day try to show your love in a conversation, a written thought, a card, a postcard, a gift, flowers, or just say I Love You, a letter to a friend, visit each other, treating someone to lunch or dinner. Be kind one to another. Love is real.

My soul is sad-WHY?

My soul is sad because I thought about  all the sickness that is going on in this world. I thought about little children who are sick and suffering. My soul is deeply saddened because of this. I pray for all of our children. I am sad because of all these diseases that are affecting these children. I hate to see a child that is sick. Lets continue to fight for a cure for these diseases. My heart goes out to all who are sick. Please we need to pray for our children every day. We must continue to do research for a solution to all these child hood diseases.

 HAPPY HOLIDAY

I love Christmas because it is a wonderful day to celebrate gift giving to your friends and families. My children and I usually decorate our tree with a lot of ornaments, garlands, and a angel on top of the tree. I love when my family comes over and we have a nice dinner. The dinner is much smaller than Thanksgiving. We may have fried fish, bake chicken, white rice and a salad. I love to shop before Christmas because its not so crowded. My children and I love to buy gifts for our family. I just love to see the smiles on my children's faces when they opened their gifts. We would stay up and listen to Christmas Carols. The songs are so uplifting and inspirational. I am thankful for life and the people I share my life with. I am thankful for family, friends, and co-workers. I am so blessed to have a life that is complete with everything I need. So for this Christmas I would love if everyone can lend a helping hand to someone who is less fortunate. It only takes one gift to put a smile on a child's face.

Happy Thanksgiving

On Thursday November 27, 2014 is Thanksgiving Day. I love this day because you invite your family and friends over to your house for dinner. On this day I like to prepare a lot of different foods. I roast a turkey, steaks, fish, ham, chicken and lasagna. I also make potato salad, rice and peas, macaroni and cheese, and a salad. I bake a Duncan Hines red velvet cake and I use Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Frosting (Cream Cheese) to frost the cake. I also make a fruit salad and vanilla ice-cream for desert. I use my best china plates and decorate my dining room. I set up the spoons, plates, forks, and napkins and use elegant wine glasses. I also decorate a nice center piece for the middle of the table. The floral arrangement for the center piece is a nice vase with elegant flowers. The table clothe is knitted with floral flowers around its boarder. I make sure that everything matches. I enjoy having my family and friends over because we talk about old times and catch up on whats new with family members and friends.

A day dedicate to all veterans

 November 11, 2014 is veteran's day.


November 11, 1918 is consider "the war to end all wars". An Act that was approved on May 13, 1938 made the 11 of November every year a legal holiday. A holiday to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be celebrated as "Armistice Day". Armistice Day was a day to honor veterans of World War I. However, in 1954 World War II had need of more mobilization of soldiers, marines, sailors and airmen in the history of this nation. American forces had fought aggressively in Korea, the 83rd Congress act on the urging of the veterans service organizations to amend the Act of 1938 by removing the word "Armistice" and replacing it with the word "Veterans." It was the approval of this legislation (Public Law 380) on June 1, 1954 that November 11 became a day in which to honor American Veterans of all wars. Thank you all for serving your country and your dedication was well appreciated. We honor you all for your bravery in World War I  and in World War II.
